Tornado Victims

Vance received a phone call from the First Baptist church of Mango, Florida asking him if he would transport some supplies today to the First Baptist Church in Paisley, Florida, about 115 miles away. The church in Paisley is a distribution center for the tornado victims in that area. I wish you could have been with us when we drove up to the church in Paisley. They starting shouting, Glory, new supplies have finally arrived. They were so excited and thankful. There is still a lot of need in that area and it was good to have a small part in the work.

Great News About Back Injury

Yesterday was my appointment with the Physical Therapist. After spending about fifteen minutes pushing, pulling, prodding, and poking, the Therapist asked me to lie down on my stomach. She then told me that I had dislocated or rotated my pelvis and with a snap, put it back in place. No wonder I have been in such pain. Praise the Lord, the pain instantly went away. I am supposed to do some stretching exercises to make sure the muscles stretch back to their original place, but Glory, I am going to live. This was not a pain unto death! I go back on Wednesday to see how everything looks.

I walked around the block

Glory! Today for the first time since I hurt my back, I felt well enough to walk around the block. This morning about 7:00, the catch in my hip released and I have been feeling pretty good since then. It is a good feeling. I think I am going to live. Thank you for your prayers.

Vance continues to be a great blessing. Not only did he go to Valdosta and get a trailer load of computers and monitors, he has been to the warehouse every day putting the stuff on pallets, deleting hard drives from the computers, etc. Vance, thank you so much for your ministry, not only to God, but to me as well.

I have an appointment with the Physical Therapist on Monday. They will give me some exercises for my back. But the walking this morning sure felt good to me.

Have a great weekend.

Oh, check out my website. It is about 50% completed. Jason Yon is building it for me. Thanks Jason.

Headed for Valdosta

I received a phone call from Valdosta today saying they had 38 computers, 100 monitors, and other stuff but need it removed quickly. As you know, I hurt my back and cannot travel. Vance said, I will go get it. So tomorrow morning (Friday) at 6:00 a.m. Vance, Gary and Trent are headed to Valdosta to get all the stuff. They are so fantastic. But I WANT TO GO! It is hard to watch from the sidelines. Praise the Lord for some more computers. Glory! Pray for Vance and the guys as they travel tomorrow. Mike Powers, thanks for thinking of us again and for having more stuff. You are great.

update

Wondering if I fell off the face of the earth? No, I hurt my back on Monday and have been bedridden for three days. I am finally back in the land of the living. It was only a back sprain instead of a slipped-disk. Praise the Lord.

I am in contact with two different school districts in Georgia for more computers and desks. I have orders for 1050 computers and for 600 desks. Please help me pray that we find favor with the school districts. I have had several people donating computers from 2-3 at a time up to 10 from one church. My computer stash is back up to 50 with all their hard-drives deleted but I have no desks. A missionary at a Native American Reservation is waiting for 200 computers and 200 desks. I still have orders to fill for missionaries and pastors in the Bahamas, El Salvador, Trinidad, Ghana, Honduras, and today I received an order for computers for Guyana. This is so exciting. Please help me pray for supplies.
