Container for Guyana

I received an email today that the container for Missionary Harold Suggs, headed to Guyana,  will arrive at the  warehouse next Thursday, Dec 6 at 9:00 a.m.  Glory!   We will have two (2) hours to load the container.  They wanted to bring the container this coming Thursday but I still have all of their computers to go through.  So it is going to be a busy week and a half getting everything ready.  Harold is getting 50 computers, 75 school desks, 6 TVs, 12 pallets of text books, and a few other things.  It will take the entire 40 foot container to fit it all.  Pray for Vance and me.

Venezuela 2007 Journal

I have finally completed the Venezuela 2007 Journal.  To read it, simply go to my website www.investinginfutures.org and click on Trip Journals.  I also put the Honduras 2007 Journal from last week on there as well.  Praise the Lord, I am caught up on my Journals.

Honduras Trip

I had a fantastic time in Honduras with missionaries Bill and Barbara Strickland.  I preached Saturday night at 5:00 p.m., Sunday Morning at 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.  The response of the people was wonderful.  They loved singing "O Mwari Wakanaka."

The highlight of the trip was having over 50 young people respond to the altar call giving their lives to be missionaries.  God is really moving in Honduras.  The church was alive!  I enjoyed the singing, the dancing, the excitement, and the move of the Spirit.  The 11:00 service was aired on national TV at 10:00 Monday morning and 7:00 p.m. Monday night.  You missed it didn't you?

Look for all the details in the Honduras Journal when I complete it.

Let me mention two things:

1.  Bill Strickland had his computer stolen a month ago and emailed me to ask if he had Dell send a new computer to my address, could I bring it to Honduras for him.  When I got to Honduras, someone had broken into my luggage and stolen the new computer.  I need to replace it because the airlines claim no responsibilities for electronic equipment.  If you would like to help, I need $1,800 to replace the laptop.

2.  The Church has an English-medium school and desire Teachers from the States.  They offer a pretty good package.  If you are interested or know of someone who would love to teach in Honduras, contact Bill Strickland.  His email is bill.strickland@agmd.org.

I am thrilled to be back home.
