Computers and Christmas Decorations Day

Today was another day of loading computers into a van.  This time it was a Caravan and it held 39 computers all headed to Family Worship Center in Lakeland. 

 

 

 

We also loaded eight pallets of Christmas decorations to go to Honduras and loaded three pallets for the Orange Blossom Room to be used for missionaries and pioneer pastors.

Computers and a Kia

            Question - How many Apple Computers will fit in a Kia?  Answer: 25

 

 

Question – Will a six-foot server rack fit on the top of a Kia with 25 Apple computers already inside?  Answer: Yes. 

This was all picked up today by Jason Brown for Literacy for Haiti.

 

          We also finished unloading the Christmas Decorations

100 computers for Cape Town

Bill Lloyd, Founder and President of Research Technology Associates, http://academic.pgcc.edu/~wlloyd/rta came down from Maryland with two friends, Ron and Albert, to help get 100 computers ready for shipment to Cape Town, South Africa. Bill has been sending computers overseas for thirteen years.  We are doing a joint venture for the Cape Town Project.  Bill taught me a lot about computer in three short days.  Thanks so much Bill.   Check out his website.

 

 

The three men set up a workshop in my storage room on Monday and worked straight through from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The sun was so bright outside that they had to seek shelter so they could see the monitors.

 

 

Vance Street and his brother Wayne worked getting the computers ready for the data to be deleted and reloaded with Windows XP.

 

 

Thanks to all you guys for a lot of hard work.   We will ship the computers to Cape Town in February and then go to Cape Town in July to set them up in the Cape School of Theology.

Elmo

Elmo Shareski, one of the men from the Practical Christian Living Sunday School Class of Victory Church, came and helped me with computers today.  Elmo is a hard worker.  Using an air compressor, he blew the dust out of 80 computers today and he says he is going to help me tomorrow as well.  Thanks so much Elmo.  He is from Manitoba.

Off to a good start

Investing in Futures is off to a great start this year.  We received a phone call from Walmart today to come pick up 18 pallets of Christmas Decorations!  Have you ever heard of anything like that?  God is good.
