A Great Week

Last week was a great week.  On Tuesday we picked up a truck load of goodies from the District One DOT in Bartow.  It was a good contact and the lady in charge wants to put me in contact with other people.  On Thursday we picked up a load from The Turnpike DOT in West Palm Beach.  This was another first.  The DOT has been so nice.  It is a delight working together with them.

 

This week I have been sorting through all the goodies, organizing them, and putting them on pallets

 

I will be headed to Honduras in two days.  I will be preaching the Missions Convention for Missionaries Bill and Barbara Strickland in Tegucigalpa.  I am really looking forward to this.  Please hold me up in prayer.

Alabama Trip

I have just returned from a week in Alabama, preaching two times on Sunday, plus attending the District Council on Tuesday and the Sectional Council on Thursday.  It was great to see a lot of old friends and to be able to spend a little time with Mom and Dad in Tuscaloosa.

 

One of the pastors in Alabama, Chad Payne, had emailed me that he had some computers for me to pick up when I came up for the sectional council.  At the council, I was given a couple of minutes to share about what God is doing with Investing in Futures.  After the meeting, Jason Loper, missionary to Nepal, asked if he could have some computers for Nepal.  I simply walked across the room and spoke with Chad Payne and instead of bringing those computers back to Florida, Jason is picking them up from Pastor Payne.  Now that is networking at its best! 

 

Tuesday I will be going to the DOT in Bartow, Florida to pick up our first load from them, and on Thursday to the DOT in West Palm Beach to pick up our first load from them as well.  Glory!  I have so many requests from missionaries for computers, but God always seems to provide.

 

We will also be loading and shipping a 40 foot container on Thursday to The Gambia, Africa.  This will be the second container to The Gambia.
