Computers for Palm Bay

Dr.White,

We are right now setting up the computers in Stephanie's classroom. The computers will be used to increase the way she is able to teach the children. We are using the computers to put reading programs on the computers so they are able to learn how to read, along with a lot of math programs we have to increase their abilities. We are in such a technological generation that we are using the computers to push these children to the next level.

The children with whom Steph works are severely emotionally handicap. The majority of the children are in foster care because their parents have left them or they have been pulled away from their parents for safety. It is estimated that 75% of the kids at this school have been sexually molested. Please pray for the school.  They are limited in resources and have a great need. Thank you so much for helping us reach the emotionally handicap children in Palm Bay.

Computers to Armenia

You may enjoy reading this email I received from Peace Corps workers in Armenia.

Dear Mr. Rodney White:

On behalf of the villagers of Nerkin Karmir Aghpiur, Aygepar, and Tovuz, I am writing this letter to thank you for your generosity and support for our work in these villages. We will start computer training beginning next week until the nurses are able to enter patient's diagnosis, treatments, medications, and history into the computers. The use of computers will sure help keeping the patient's record more accurate and up to date.
This is a very big step the village nurses are undertaking. We truly appreciate your gifts.

With sincere appreciation,

Semi load from Valdosta today

We donated a semi load of file cabinets, book cases, media carts, teachers desks and student's school desk to Compassionate Alliance today.  They met me in Valdosta with their semi and we loaded everything in the heat of the day.  It was extremely hot.  However, it was worth it because this semi load will be going to Honduras and Haiti.  Tomorrow, we will donate a whole semi load of student's school desks as well.  That makes two semi loads this week and it is only Monday.  Glory!  A special word of thanks to Mike Powers for loaning us his maintenance crew to help load the semi today.  Mike, you saved our lives.  Thank you so much.

Quick update

Life is good.  We have 400 computers to donate, 100 of them is going to an orphange in Uganda, Africa.  My hand is doing well, I have been in physical therapy now for two weeks.  Dad is doing well after Mom's death, and Gerry and I are on our way to Orlando for a week for the bi-annual General Council meeting for all Assembly of God ministers.
