Comments about my finger

I have gotten so many emails about my finger.  Here are some of the comments -

One wrote -  At least you can still give us the thumbs up.

Another wrote - How will you be able to pick your nose now?  Hello, does he not realize I still have a left hand.  I have to do everything with my left hand now, and I mean everything (like typing on the computer).

A pastor phoned from the DC area phoned and said he could go out on the streets and find a finger that has just been cut off (seemingly a normal thing there) and send it to me.  The only problem was that he could not guarantee the size or the tint.  So I told him to go ahead and send one, just make sure it has a well-manicured nail.

One guy wrote – Please do not tell me you made a key chain out of that finger.  I replied, I did, how did you know?  I need it is get into Disney for my season pass - That was my ID finger.

You guys are as crazy as I am.

Guyana and Cambodia

Today was a good day for Investing in Futures.  We donated nine computers to missionary Harold Suggs this morning.  He will be shipping them to Guyana, South America.  This afternoon we donated fifteen computers to First Baptist Church at the Mall here in Lakeland.  They will be taking them to Cambodia as they leave Sunday on a missions trip to work with the Trash Mountain Project.  May God go with them and bless them on their trip.

Cut off finger

I cut off the first digit of my index finger last Thursday while unloading a pallet jack.  They could not reattach the digit, so today the hand doctor put me to sleep, folded and sewed my index finger to my palm to graft skin.  In two weeks, I will go back and the doctor will cut it lose.  So I will be a little short since the last time you saw me (get it)?

Container to Africa

The container with all the meals-ready-to-eat finally arrived in The Gambia, Africa.  Here are two photos of the people receiving the boxes of meals.

Handling Fee

At our June 3 meeting, the Board of Directors for Investing in Futures, Inc. decided to set a $10.00 handling fee per computer to help offset the expenses of renting a warehouse, paying utilities, and the cost of running and maintaining the forklift. Thank you for understanding.
